Fleas and Ticks most commonly attack the pets particularly when we take them outside. It is necessary to check your dog regularly after every outing. There are various oral medications, Sprayers, Powders, Shampoos which can be given on regular basis. Oral medications can be given monthly once which will be no harm for others and it is easy to do so.
When sprayers, powders are applied, you should be careful and sure that your kids are not touching your dog. It will be harmful to you and your pets when it licks. Shampoo suggested by your vets can be used regularly that causes no harm. Keep your lawn and grasses cut and maintained. It will reduce Fleas and Ticks. Clean your house, pet mattress, towels regularly.
When you take your pet in woody region, be sure to check your pet after returning. Keep your dog healthy, if your dog have immunity power it will be safe and protected from flea or ticks bite.
If your dog is affected by Flea or Ticks bite, it can be removed by you immediately. While removing, be sure you are taking it straightly right up. If not properly taken Ticks mouth part may leave behind and this may cause serious problems.
Another way to remove the ticks in your dog is to applying liquid tick control products (which generates heat) available in the market after consulting your Vet or reading it carefully can be applied. After applying the liquid as per the medicine procedure, all the ticks will come out from your dog. Be prepared with overheated boiled water in a vessel or burner to dispose the ticks carefully and immediately. After that procedure combing is necessary to take the ticks that retains in your dog. Once a time is more than enough.
Note: Without consulting your Vets don’t apply this medicine and don’t overdose it.
There are also some natural remedies that can be done to your breed with no harm. You can use lemon water spray, Apple cider vinegar mixed with water and spray to your breed. Use Flea comb regularly to catch the fleas.
